3. If clearly visible, audible and obviously not sped up keytaps on 270 bpm js/360 stream don't convince a person they'll always find some reason to call BS no matter what lengths you go to. Different SM installation if you do ini afterwards, shortcut link if you do it before, if you show it's not a shortcut then the video was edited, you built a machine and disguised it as a set of hands and had it play for you etc

But ultimately, if people don't want to believe they just won't, and there's nothing you can do about it

Unfortunately, this is very true, and the reason why posting proof videos is essentially pointless. As it works out, those who will believe you're legit will believe you're legit even without a video, and those who will believe you're BS will believe you're BS even with a video. Therefore, if you post the video, the people who believed you were legit before will now believe you more since you have more proof, and the people who believed your were BS before will now believe you less since you have posted more incriminating evidence against yourself. After all, a BS player posting a BS video is all the more proof that the player isn't legit (defeating the purpose of the video), right?

Now, posting videos for entertainment value is different. I like to see videos of people play and get scores - especially if there is something of humorous value during the video as well (they talk, their little sister comes in, etc). I like videos, but don't think they do a good job of proving anything at all.

But, I digress. It's a really nice Eclipse score, and I don't think it's BS because it's not beyond the scope of human limitations. Many of us will never get this good, but it doesn't mean it's not possible.

maybe its just that i dont like someones name above mine but i don't really believe this score fully. you dont just go from rank 252 to 1 on a song like this. my first fc was probably with like 40 goods or something and for my 1good xboos score i had to sup my own #1 score 2 or 3 times

but maybe you're just good minaciousgrace (no idea who you are because im selfish and dont pay attention to forum people)

We're talking about somebody who's played 188 games of FFR on his account. Maybe Mina has a previous account and has already got the "initial 40 good FC". Or maybe not. But either way, it's obvious he's not exactly trying to play for rank here. Like Patashu said, Mina probably canceled / failed out of games until he got a good one.

Previous rank really doesn't mean anything. It could have been 0 for all anyone cares because Mina could have refreshed until he got this score. I'm not saying he'd do that (or even want to), but it's entirely possible. I could go "sightread AAA" something right now but in reality it may have taken me 200 games to AAA it.
