What version of Video Edit Magic are you using?

The scores it shows on the screen mean nothing. He's right, many alphas have problem recording scores... Like most of my AAAs show up and then are gone like 2 days later :P or show up as different scores.

Alpha 11 is the best. I use it.

As for the video...won't bother watching it. Don't bother making a video unless you can atleast record sound+your keytaps. Plus just go and show the ini after you're done if you did good.

actually though if he shows the judge and its at 4 it should be correct because if he had edited the ini, the ini file would automatically reset the judge to 1 upon loading of SM.
I personally think frontcam is shit because no sound, shit quality, no fingers shown, etc.

I think the ini stays at whatever you set it to.

Front cam is only good if your pc is fast. If you don't...its like me, you'll get like 5 FPS and the audio will be a minute ahead of the video.

And it does record audio, nima. You need a mic. I guess hearing the taps is the same as seeing their fingers, obviously they're hitting keys.

ya, but the sound is offsync and i have recorded sound on it and it sucks. Seeing fingers is alot better as it can't be sped up or anything or alot harder atleast and its more impressive.
As for the thing about ini. It does stay at whatever you set it to, BUT, if you lets say lower the judge window, then the judge difficulty would also go down.

Ok, I'm having a really bad day.. and I'm getting sick of you dumbfucks accusing me of cheating.. First of all, if you don't believe me, you can go suck a dick.. I recorded the first video.. no cheating and some people still didn't believe.. SO JUST FOR YOU ASSHOLES.. I recorded it again with judge.. I didn't know what fucking .ini you guys were talking about so I just didn't show it.. Now, I guess I can go through it again and maybe get way better quality + bigger video + no video edit magic text in the middle but it'll take some time..

ok, let's go through the steps I'll take..
Start off at desktop
*Start
*My Computer
*C:\
*Stepmania CVS
*data
-> Stepmania.ini
-- Scroll down to timing
I'll let it sit for a few seconds and then save the stepmaina.ini before I close it
Then I'll go back one folder.
-> Stepmania.exe
*options
*Machine options
Let it sit
Then I'll start playing and go over to Blur.. go through the mods menus.. let 'em sit.. and play it..

you know how much of a pain in the ass this will be if I don't pass blur? I'll have to go through all this again.. Anything else?

I don't think you read my post.

There's no way your computer could make a high enough quality video to make me able to believe you, and you could show the ini but it could just be a duplicate ini. I've thought of every possible way, and someone could've accused me of running a stepmania outside of the one to the path to the ini in the quasar video I did, but thankfully the quality of the vid saved my ass on that because you could sort of tell I was hitting them on time.

Not only that, your videos LAG, like a LOT, and they have no sound, and you go through menus way too fast.

Oh that and you're hitting marvelous nearly outside of the arrow marquee. That doesn't happen, even if your videos do lag. In my quasar video, I got a good and I think a great at one point where you were getting marvelous and perfects in your video. Marvelouses don't leave the arrow marquee at all, nomatter what you say because of lag.

Oh, and I have the original 233mb video.. and how do I go through the menus so fast? Mod menus? hold tab and press enter? wtf is wrong with that? oh and, a while back.. I changed the rate at which stepmania goes through the songs menu.. I don't remember where though..

And if I go into the data folder and open the stepmania.ini file.. then go back into the main directory and start stepmania from there.. how would I slip in a duplicate?

I'd set frontcam to follow the mouse when I would record this.
