I just played P8107 and got a better score then my recorded score. When the rank cam up, it was higher then the recorded score. You look at the scores(Old score on top, new score on bottom)and tell something isnt weird about these scores.

Random miss, but I figured the mass jump in goods would clear it up. I know I can do this again, I just thought it was weird.

it recorded just fine, it just happens that your score with the higher combo will almost always be better in terms of rank.

yeah, the scoring system is MEGA focused on combo, which is a little messed up, unlike SM which is balanced, high combo and s**ty PA in FFR is good, while good PA and bad combo in SM is good, its whatever floats your boat to find your lost remote
