I cut off all but about 3/4 of an inch below the arrows, or 1 1/4 inch total, arrows included. I cut off right above the combo.

You just need to get used to it. Or adjust gradually.

i don't play stepmania. ^_^ it hurts my grandtotal. i'll try to get used to the intense screencut. but it makes me have to concentrate more than im used to... >_<
