if i got this straight... the beginners tourney will be 1 week longer than the intermediate tourney which will be 1 week longer than the advanced?

Nope. Shash said they will all be the same length. Unless, however, he's changed it since when he said that.

Edit: I believe he said they will all be 9 rounds.
