I finally figured out how to adjust the gap to my preference. Man it helped.

My hands were shaking after the slowdown part. I was stuck at like 4 or 5 perfects for months.

To fix gap: turn on little (so it's just 4th notes) and autosync. Hit the arrows to the music and voila you have fixed gap.

Or you can use Goldwave or something to find the gap manually and enter that in, but autosync is so much easier for laziness' sake.
