My first AAA/FEC

Well, I've been playing ITG a LOT recently, and last night I finally got my first Full Excellent Combo (Equivilant to a triple A on DDR).

Please note however, this was done at home, on ITGPS2 with a Red Octane Metal pad (Not the afterburner, the one before that).

I hope to replicate it at the arcade this friday.

How good is that metal pad of yours? I'm stuck using crappy soft pads until I can find a decent arcade that's not like 5 hours away from my house, so I might as well look into a metal pad.

Well... they don't make my metal pad anymore, which I guess is a good thing.

If you can aford it, go with a Cobalt Flux (http://www.cobaltflux.com), they are without a doubt the best DDR/ITG metal pad you can purchase. I'm sure you've seen some of the videos of iamchris4life playing on them, if not, go to youtube and type his name in. He's AAA'd Pandamonium on the CF pads, as well as a bunch of other redic feats.

Do NOT get the afterburner though, I've heard a lot of bad things about it, including it not lasting very long.

How did Chris get his other DDR pad looking like the cobalt flux? Looks like he stuck it in a giant laminater.

I once FECed Hardcore Symphony Easy (I think I had 21 excellents or something like that). Nice job. (On DDR when I do Nonstop, my ratio of marvs to perfs to greats is about 4:2:1, to give you perspective on how crappy I am.)

Of course, there was that one time as well where I FCed 3 songs in a row and got at least 90% on each of them. I had to bar-rape like crazy to even move my feet by the time I was done (it worked out to about a 900 combo).

I have a cobalt flux and it scored me a 99.26 on bubble dancer first try.....Nice job LD
