Since my finger has started to swollen up I decided to quit spread for a while and play index instead. Haven't played that long so the scores suck:

How long did you take to be able to hit those left+down up+right jumps? and alternating instead of using 1 finger? I can barely pass 8 footer after 1 hour of trying lol.

Play ITG, then!

Anyway, when you play 4 finger, the arrows are more like just four different types of notes that you just hit in time. On index, you have to treat the arrows like arrows. You have to actually move your fingers around in patterns much like a DDR/ITG player would move their feet. Except for those 3x bar people who refuse to crossover.

Nah, I'll just play normal kb-sims instead. I'll probably learn how to alternate as I play

ddr won't help... just play with indexes more... practice things like quasar, it'll help you understand patterns a little more... just try to make sure you don't use the same finger twice in a row
