    Re: Higher CMod Scores

Seriously, what song do I need to pass or get a AA or w/e on before I'm recognized in here? I'm tired of being the Afrobean of Four fingers. -_-

      Re: Higher CMod Scores

The reason you're the afrobean of 4 fingers is because your scores suck compared to how long you've been playing x.x

You'd have to go AAA stuff like Snow from the KBMP, Vanish from the KBMP, to be slightly on par with some of the other guys

        july 2003 srsly

if you've been playing that long you should be able to get 12 on doku oni (after fixing the gap)

(is vita even a hard AAA? if i can get 10 greats on it first try... )

Yeah VITA is a pretty tricky AAA because of the "weird" patterns.

Yeah and you're absolutely terrible at this game right emccky

I've gotten like 16 or something, but I still think it's tricky. One messup gives you at least 5 perfects, it's really easy to go offbeat and ****.

You guys don't know me very well. I didn't start playing SM until almost the middle of 2004 because my pc could only run DWI. Even then, I had to learn how to handle streams and jumps and all that as well as I can today. God you guys are noobs. =P

                  Anyway, update scores.

OMFG What point of I'm not like you guys don't you understand? Some people are skilled at this game because of talent. If this was like Naruto, I would be the Rock Lee of the group. I've had to practice my ass off just to get to where I am. Just because I can't sdg fc snow after a year, doesn't make me any more noobie than you Anuj. =P

I think one of the points is it shouldn't matter that much if he's as good as most people after a certain amount of time. people used to have an attitude of a score being acceptable as long as it was an accomplishment for you, and it didn't matter how it compared to everyone who was better. but it seems nowadays anyone who's not one of the better people here posts a topic and gets comments like "scores are pretty bad" rather than even a simple "good job".

just seems like a lot of people have forgotten that not everyone is going to be as good as the better players, and that there's nothing wrong with that. :/

These scores aren't bad, nor are they good. They're reasonable/decent.
It doesn't matter as much how long you have been playing SM, but more of how much you have. If you play about 5 hours a day, then you're certainly going to get really good.
I have been playing for less than a year and I am one of the fastest one handers out there. I can remember back when I couldn't even pass Alpha Helix on FFR. It took a lot of practice to get where I am now, but I played lots every day because SM/FFR is just so addictive to play.
There is no natural talent on how fast your fingers move. That you must develop. People could argue about having a natural talent in timing, although practice is most of the skill in timing as well.

I believe that the main reason the Brag Board exists in the first place is for the competition, which is also why I never post any double style scores. Nobody plays 6 finger, so posting 6 finger scores is useless.

2:30 AM ow brain hurts brb ned some bed
