With my new x800gt and gig of ram, I was able to get this WITHOUT overclocking my card yet (which it is VERY capable of) and on default settings:

Me and my friend built a computer that we are currently sharing. here are the specs:

Nvidia 7800 GTX
2 Gigs Titanium Corsair RAM
64 bit AMD 3500+
Western Digital 10,000 RPM hard drive
ASUS deluxe Motherboard



we got like 8,000 something when we ran 3dmark...we are saring the comp and he has it now so i'll tell him to screenshot a score.

Weird, that's pretty low for your card. My 6600GT gets 3338 on stock. Maybe I'm mistaken but I thought the x800gt was a lot more powerful than the 66.

Mine would probably get an average/ok score, but I dunno if I want to go download, I'm running seriously low on hard disk space haha. Actually, I should really clean my hard drive brb, 2 gigs left out of over 100 rofl

Edit: Ok, so when I started I was at 2/127GB on my main disk, I cleaned out My Documents and i'm at 33/127GB rofl I had over 30 gigs of crap in there. And that wasn't even all of it.

Edit: omfg haha, I found out my firewall was logging every single connection I made rofl I had a 7gig log file, now I'm up to like 45gigs I think I'm good for now

Yeah, rich people don't count. Besides, that's really low for a 7800GTX and 2 gigs of ram XD

Hero: It's not THAT much more powerful than the 6600GT. 1000 points difference is about the power difference. However, the x800gt is also cheaper than the 6600GT. Way to be smart. :>
