The thing i dont get is, how can people be smart enough to get around Synth's new safeguards, yet they still hack a score 8 mil higher than everyone else's.

I'm sure there's more than one way to hack. Hell, there's probably dozens...hackers just consider it their own little challenge. Very few sites are completely hacker-safegaurd (and when you think about it there's really no such thing)
