OH MY DEAR LORD I BLEW UP STEPMANIA.

Okay, so I went to go make a frontcam video of Emerald Sword. It lags horribly, so I stop the video and change the resolution. I didn't know how much I wanted to lower it and ended up making it so bad I could barely read anything.

So all I have to do is change the resolution back, right? WRONG. All of a sudden, SM keeps minimizing itself, how I have no damn clue. So I restore it to fullscreen a billion times, looking at it really fast and maybe moving the cursor thing once. Took me maybe five minutes.

After those five long minutes, I finally get the resolution back to where it was, so I'm all good, right? WRONG AGAIN. SM is STILL minimizing itself, maybe a second after I restore it. AND IT'S STILL DOING IT. I need help really REALLY bad.

Frontcam sucks. I'm blaming this whole incident on it.

Now I have one possible solution left, which I am going to try. This happened once with Alpha 3 a long time ago, so I got a new version and it stopped doing it. I still have RC1 right now, so MAYBE it'll stop doing it if I get RC2. After that, I'm all out of ideas.

Anyone run into the same problem? Know how to fix it? I'm in desparate need of help...

copy your whole songs folder and re download stepmania

Uninstall, reinstall.

Already did. When you get a new version of SM, it uninstalls the one you have.

Meh, this is why I hate helping over the internet. However, you could actually uninstall, wait a day, then install the version that you want. That just might help. And when you install, you'd go through the control panel, not the silly SM prompt uninstall.
