well, i played on Judge 5 for quite a while, and my scores gradually improved. so i figured it was time to switch back to judge 4 a few weeks ago. MAN my scores had shot up! like seriously, i went from a SDG to a SDP, on this song:



thats insane. anyhow, heres some more of my insanely high scores (for me anyway) on judge 4:


this is BMR's A that was in the keyboard megapack, but i think it had like 20 seconds cut out of it.



this is the full BMR's A (im pretty sure), and i think i need to fine tune the syncing on this one more, cause thats a helluva lot of perfects for just adding a few measures.



SDG on judge 5. hot damn, thats better.



im pretty positive i hadnt FC'd this on J5, but i think thats just cause i only played it like once.



my most recent score, and hot damn im proud of it. that is some insane MA for me, really.

Your A scores should be pretty much identical. They are both exactly the same only Arch fucked the first one up by changing the GAP making it offsync so most of the people who play it.


EDIT: Play some stepfiles we play so we know your MA isn't just some bullshit Judge 1 stuff.

i have no idea who you are.... but, from just looking at those scores, it looks J1. thats better MA than i have. then again, most of those songs are index biased.

yeah, i just started posting here, sorry. im a regular poster at bstyle and arch0wl though, so its not like im completely new to the scene. and i admit, id probably think it was J1 too, if i didnt know for a fact that it wasnt. and i thought BMR's A, V heavy beat, and M were pretty much standards in the SM community. what other files should i post that "you guys play"? and yeah, tasselfoot, im a primarily index player, so i prefer non-4finger files.

edit: the first and the last are both my files, so i would bet that id do better on them than most. and thats also why you probably havent heard of them. theyre on Bstyle if you want to try em out.

Play BMR's Gravity, Toph's Gravity, Toph's MoonChild, Vanish Into Thin Air V2 ONI, SNOW Oni and etc...

Also I'd like to know how you'd go from an average amount of perfects let's say maybe 100 on that 1000+ file and then play it again on Judge 4 and suddenly drop 93 perfects on it.

well for one, most of those songs are pretty 4/3-finger bias. i can do most index, but some are just ridiculous. ill do tophs moon child though, i like that song.

and i didnt drop 93 perfects. on J5, i had 89 perfects as my all time best, and the first time on J4, i got 20-some perfects. 2nd, i got 12, then 3rd, i got the SDP. so it wasnt THAT sudden, though it was pretty steep.

That's what WE index players are playing nowadays, because well.. index biased simfiles are too easy obviously.

I've seen his progress and I don't think he could improve it that much, I dunno.

must have been playing SM a lot because he got 1236547x better in about 3 days
