Working on accuracy...

I'm sure everyone knows my timing sux...

so in an attempt to increase my accuracy off the audio half of playing as opposed to reading the arrows for timing, I'm fooling around with playing with Dizzy, Hidden, and Blind on so I hafta pretty much depend on audio for accuracy... hoping this will help over time when I switch back to regular play...

here's a few screens from today... thought these were the best of the shots with these mods...

propz to Reach for the idea of using these mods, and to justaguy for telling me I can play the jack+hold in shining collection as a double-jack with my right hand (cut a bunch of misses from my CB count)...

VITA - one of only a few songs I've FC'ed this way...

Xeno-flow - I think this is awesome PA considering...

Shining Collection - only 10 CB's... pretty horrible MA/PA on this song, dunno why... maybe has sumthing to do with the streams w/ doubles or w/e... no clue... but this is a decently low CB count with these mods... and gotta love the marv count...

Just as a side-note... first song I played with hidden + blind was stratofortress, and I barely A'ed it with like 148 or so greats lmao... this is definitely improvement from that...

dizzy and blind doesn't affect it much... try using some of the crazy mods :P

yeah, I know dizzy doesn't really do anything... I just kinda threw it in there to add to the list of mods... but the point of turning on blind is so I can't use the flashing marv's to make sure I'm keeping in time with a stream of arrows or sumthing... having the flashing marvs would let me judge my accuracy on something other than the music...

lmao, and I'm working on accuracy, not jackhammers XD so I'm not about to use super shuffle or anything lol...

Hidden doesn't mess me up too bad... I'm sure dizzy doesn't do too much. Blind would fuck me up though. I need a focal point.

WHy don't you just raise the judge difficulty?.... It decreases the timing window, and would make you more accurate when you play. that just seems easier than throwing in some crazy mods

yeah I tried that a coupel times and it never really worked... dunno... like when the results screen came up I would just translate all the stats up one notch in my mind, so it wasn't that different... and plus, I'm under the belief that I need to work on basing accuracy off the sound as opposed to the visual dunno if that's right or not, guess it varies... but I can't get better with hand-audio timing by jsut changing the judge...

o, and whenever I would change the judge I would get too frustrated and change it back after just a couple days, so that probably wasn't enough time to have it take an effect...
