My resolution is at 600. And on feet I don't use speed mods, I only play 1x. Sometimes I'll use flat sudden or dark though to make it fun. And on So Deep and Drifiting Away, flat makes my score better.

1x on foot? i always use 2x speed. i CANNOT do things with notes even close to eachother or else it screws me up. i need max 300 on foot at 1.5 or else i fail completly. and maybe i can do better on reality if someone could explain how i get 2.5x speed. 3x to fast 2x way to slow =(

I play on 1x on feet becuase I believe that bar/speed mods on feet are cheating. This sounds hypocritical since I use mods on SM, but I don't care. On feet it is also more fun to read songs on 1x or 1x flat, but with most of the current SM songs it is impossible to read on 1x.

Did you even watch the video? I think that is the most impressive DDR feat ever! That has got to be much harder to play any song on maniac with one leg than it is to pass 10 footers. Props to that guy, he's got heart.

Okay, getting back on topic: What songs should I practice on once I've gotten used to C550? The same songs that I've been playing or some other songs that I don't have yet?

I hate how people think that using the bar/mods is cheating... If you can B sakura w/o the bar and with no mods, and another guy AA's with mods and with the bar, that nomod nobar dumbass thinks he's better all of a sudden. Then the AA guy says he can use the bar/mods, but then nomod says "no, because I can't play on fast BPMs..." bullshit I tell you

It's cheating because if I can AA sakura (which I can) and he can AAA it with mods and bar, but w/o bar he can't even A it, then yes it is cheating if it makes the game that much easier. But don't get into the speed mod debate here, I don't care if other people use speed mods as long as they don't tell me I suck because they get better scores.

I started this thread to get advice, and so far the only people to give me any are privateer and reach.

I'll give you some advice.
For songs to practice on, the ones you posted scores of are just fine.
For PA on 16th streams, Quasar is perfect. It's a great base to start off on.
As soon as you get faster, stuff like Cynic's Lab (or maybe mine, I dunno which would be better for practice) and stuff like Dancing All Alone and Murmur Twins (which you already play) are also great songs to practice.
For doubles (jumps, air) stuff like Arriabiata, ASb, aperson's Club (Double jacks), and a few others are good practice.
Kilga's stepfiles are also a great way to practice 16th streamed doubles.
Aswell, for speed reading, the best way to go is just practice Quasar on 3x (515 BPM speed) until you can do it. Other songs that are similar to Quasar's BPM/steps are a good way to go. Play a variety of songs on about 500bpm. Don't jump from 460 to 550, that's 90bpm and that's a large jump. It's really strainful on your eyes. If you are already used to C550 like you say, then try doing 150bpm songs on 4x. That's 600bpm+/-
Soon as you can do that, you're well on your way.
