Other than practicing holdstream, what specific strategies do you employ to make your holdstreaming accuracy as close to your regular streaming accuracy as possible?

It's all about practice imo.
I'd recommend SMGPack2 to practice as there are a LOT of holds in some files. A lot of the earlier packs had a few hold streams here and there to work on. VGMP2 had a fair amount of holdstreams as well.
finding a comfortable noteskin can help as well to kind of remind you that you're holding a note while your other 3 fingers are doing streams. Or you can always make your own files to help you practice

when i was grinding 7k alot I used to try to play 4k while anchoring my middle fingers and never releasing them, e.g. i use WE P[, so id just anchor down Q and ] and never release them
maybe itd help if you tried that and used ring and middle, depends how good you are at solo and 6k, like with my key setup youd anchor ur index fingers on R and O and hit ur normal 4k keys with ring and middle etcComment
