haha actually, I did the same thing... after evilpeer's posts with blind and stuff i tried it myself and found it also improved my scores somewhat... i think the only reason why it works better for me is that it takes off nervousness if for example I have a high combo... and clears up the clutter blocking my view of the arrows... I noticed specifically in One More Lovely how when the combo counter goes over 1000 around the last section of streams, it tends to block my view a little, and that mixed with nervousness sometimes makes me mess up at that point w/o blind on, but with blind on it's easier to concentrate on just the arrows...

but I stopped using blind cuz I still like looking at the pretty counter and the flashing words =) the game just doesn't feel whole with blind on lol...

Whatever, it's not important since he totally destroyed my RTPR, Snow, Mindblowin' and I can't even pass OML so who the fuck cares. Very, very nice job on those scores.

yes they are... And no... the game doesn't come with 3.5x or 2.5x and all that crap... You have to edit the metrics to get it. If you wanna play with them I don't care but don't put a score with them up... That's like if you wanna play some song on ddr and 5x is too slow and 8x is too fast you editing it so you can play it on 6.5.

ive been wondering how to edit the metrics someone plz tell me how. when i try to do reality 3x is so fast and 2x is to slow i can only get half way through on either and i want 2.5 O.o someone tell me... please =/

What I meant Nima was that anyone can edit the metrics...

Obviously if you want to dance something--that's different. You should only use arcade metrics in that case.

But for keyboard... the moving arrows still hit the stationary arrows at the same time...

StepMania does not come installed with 2.5x/4.5x/etc.
You're adding to it, what the creator of the software did not intend to add. I don't support editting metrics. I will always use 3x/4x/5x. It's more of a challenge, and the scores are valued a lot higher than ones with editted scroll rates.
