Izzy is an "older vet" than Danceguy by something like a few days iirc.
But yeah that's not what OP is talking about.

Over 9 years is a long time but someone probably took longer tbh. No name comes to my mind right away but I would be surprised if you took the longest or what have you

There's older people than Arch0wl with vet, like nestlekwik, and jewpinthethird, but afaik, Arch0wl is the oldest still active veteran, alongside Synthlight.

account age drops the requirement drastically based on how old their profile is. I know that the max amount of GT you need to get for vet is 3 billion, but it can vary to 2 billion, 1 billion, I don't know how low it goes, but some of the accounts are so old that you require little to no GT to get veteran.

Sometimes it just gives it to you automatically because your account is so old.

iirc the shortest amount of time you can acquire Vet Status is .5 year @ 10 Billion GT

You're correct on .5 year @ 10 billion; and the MINIMUM amount of GT needed to get veteran status is 3 billion, and that's if your profile is 3 years or older.

I've used a few different accounts over the years, but I'd also be in the 12+ years category, I believe.

Bix acct was mid-July 2004 I think, but I had another account about a year prior to this.

Edit: Found it. 12.5-ish years, here.

This is totally unrelated, but I can't recall the name of the individual who sent out a blank challenge request in R^1 and it resulted in a server fire. Who remembers?

12.49 years for me. This is my original account I created after playing FFR anonymously for a year prior to signing up. I then switched over to RobbyZero (12.32 years) which was used to play FFR more seriously at the time. And then I became tired of the account name (undecided teenager ftw) and switched to -Fallen- (10.7 years) which I've played on for the past decade.

I'm still friends with Jeff (eVILPeeR, who happens to be celebrating his birthday today!), Nima, Anuj, alainbryden, Cody (DJRiDDeR), Jared (CyanoticXtC), Jason (banditcom), scorpio1690, hydrojakep, Julie (tifanator almost 10 years), xxxsmittyxxx, zajac, and bunch of others.. Lot of old school right there.
