i dont understand the functional purpose of stickying a single score thread either
i mean i guess i do but i disagree with arbitrarily designating a single score as being so vastly more impressive than any other score achieved in the history of the game as to deserve such a privilege
far from arbitrary, but if people want to assume it as such, that's their opinion.
this set a really high bar for me so I don't know what else I can do with SM unless I pick up on speed and vibrating for random passes. I was thinking of saving money for a new mechanical keyboard (idk which color to get yet) since this one is almost completely worn out now and has difficulty registering hand/quad hits for fast jacks unless I bottom out the keys.
I personally can't really fully comprehend the craziness of this score since I was never a marathoner myself but I can only imagine how painful your wrists and forearms must have felt doing this. 2 hours? Let's see...
1 hr 54 minutes long, 114 minutes or 6840 seconds
240 perfects, so 1 perfect every 28.5 seconds.
According to the comments you guys tell me the pattern repeats roughly every 30 seconds, so we can pretty much say this guy when the entire file getting an average of just 1 perfect per cycle. For 2 hours, that's pretty impressive I'd say.
Rap music is music. However, It's not in the traditional sense of how we understand music. The vocals are filled with slangs that gangs used since the 70s and a lot of the instrumentations are replaced with "Street Sounds" instead of traditional instruments. Music is defined as any combination of sounds that is pleasing to the ear, so while one person may find it as "noise" another person can find it pleasing to the ear and so call "vibe" with it as how I think the kids would say it these days.
I already have difficulties AAA'ing anything over 3 minutes because I'm bound to derp somewhere. I mean, in almost 2 hours, you just got to blink or lose concentration at some point. Limiting the 'damage' to 2 greats and keeping that MA is beyond impressive.
