And also, yeah. The logistics of a D6 Rivalry... I think the idea of splitting into low and high D6 is a good idea. This thread might be scaring away a lot of active low-D6 players by having so many people who are pretty much on the brink of D7, and also size/participation might not be an issue as long as people post consistently. I'm sure even having just three people would be motivating enough.

We had D5A (higher) and D5B (lower) in a couple tourneys this past summer, splitting D6 like that could be a good idea too

I'm all for encouraging this or the rarely spoken Division Changes that are "apparently" under construction, I split the divisions in the summer tournament I hosted and there's such a gap between the two that something needs to balance the whole division out

I guess for the purposes of this thread, since I haven't really seen a formal splitting of D6 in action, maybe people can just self-place themselves? If you think you're a lower D6 player, you could just say "D6B" next to your scores, or "D6A" if you want higher D6 people to challenge you. I feel like people are pretty self-aware of where in D6 they are.
Or if you want to call a single person out that works too, haha.
