so, you're going to withdraw from a thing that isn't even giving you any credit/gain otherwise; something that's purely for fun and gauging your skill against people in the division that you've been placed. All because you say you're not good enough.

grow a pair and try. It's not like people are going to point and laugh when you're not the best player in the group of players. If you keep playing, pretty much the only way to go is up

I was put into D4 in the 6th /soley/ because of an AIM Anthem AAA. My best AAA was probably a 7 at the time. I thought I had no chance. But, if you say "I'm going to take the ez way out and go play with people i know i'm better than".....

I don't understand what you and others don't get here...Close competition is more effective (at least for me) in terms of increasing my motivational drive. That just isn't the case here. I understand it's all for fun and all, but why not actually enjoy it with people that are the very close to me in skill, rather than get killed in here. That just seems like common sense. Also I'm not joining the D4 rivalry to "be the best and dominate everyone" I don't have the skill for that and as it appears from scores posted I'd say half the people in there are better than me, but are actually within reach, which gives me reason to try and catch them so I wouldn't call it an easy way out.

Joining a rivalry thread is not just show your scores to ppl, it in a way will make you cheer up to '' competitions ''. You also can improve / ask things / train and more, well for me that's why you join a thread like that, not to show your AAAs.
Yeah, showing AAAs is cool, but working in a group to make everyone in your division improve in terms of skill is much better.

I wouldn't say Eon's Easier, but i do think Mirage Garden is easier but that's just because of streamzzz

A "rivalry" thread has one main purpose....compete with people similar to you in skill and push each other to get better. Even in sports, rivalry teams for the most part are close. Sure once in awhile there may be a game or two where one team or the other play exceptionally well and blow out the other team, but for the most part wins are split fairly even. If it was always one-sided, that would not be considered a rivalry, that would just be domination, which is exactly what this is.

Sure once in awhile there may be a game or two where one team or the other play exceptionally well and blow out the other team, but for the most part wins are split fairly even. I could improve, I'm not used enough with the new engine so I tend to dump goods everywhere. The miss was dumb.
