In spirit of the official about to start and seeing how great the D4 rivalry has gone I'd like to do a D5 one. I've been trying to find a reason to become more active in terms of playing the game again and I think this might help. I don't find the game as fun when I don't have other people to play along with. Hopin' this might help me skillboost as well.
I will be throwing up weekly songs like the D4 rivalry does but that doesn't mean you can't initiate other side challenges against the players here. Back some time ago in dragonsfury people would just say I challenge anyone whos D(whatever they were) to whatever song they wanted to challenge them to and they'd say for how many credits. You can do that here if you want to, just make sure that you have the credits to pay out to the winner.
I'm going to keep most of the format that the D4 rivalry thread has because I think it's a really good system so credit to axith.
Information:
1. There will be 6 weekly songs to play. You will gain points based on your placement on the song. This I'm doing slightly different than D4 because I'm going to do it 1 point for the lowest score and add a point for each place depending on how many people submitted and played that week.
2. This will be based on RAW scoring, not combo scoring.
3. Old scores will not be accepted.
4. You can submit your score by screenshot or with a replay
5. Of course be courteous of other participants. We want this to be a fun challenge environment.
6. I will be giving out credit prizes but I'm not sure how I want to structure that just yet. I'll keep you guys informed and I'm open to any suggestions. I don't want to go credit broke so I need to be careful lol.
