Took quite a few tries but I finally beat 8th dan on Tricoro. gigadelic [a] is such a pain in the ass.

It's too bad so few people here play IIDX, as any IIDX player would recognize that passing 8-dan is a significant milestone (although the difficulty varies slightly from one IIDX version to another). Congrats!

I've noticed you seem to know quite a bit. I'm curious as to how good you are

And thanks. I doubt I'll be able to do 9th for a looooong time. Isn't it like all 12s or some bullshit? I've only ever passed one 12 ever, and I think that was just a fluke since it was years ago.

I haven't played in a long time, but at my peak I could AAA some 10s, a very small handful of 11s, and pass a couple of 12s. I had better accuracy than I had the ability to pass very hard songs. I posted some of my scores in some of the past IIDX threads on the forums here.
Since there aren't any arcade machines in my area, I played on the PS2 console versions (not on the computer).

Wow, way better than me. I can AA a lot of 10s and pass random 11s with maybe an A and that's about it haha.

And I totally forgot about that thread :O
