Was meaning to do this for a while so I can stop making new threads, then Mollo and Wafles made their own so I felt it was the right time to do this.

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
That Superluminal probably has the lowest machine score ever for a AA lmfao, really nice job on the AA though!
That Bridgeport Run is amazing for you, goddamn
EDIT: I also see that your MA is improving, bit by bit, keep going duder -
Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
tbh i don't have much trouble in bridgeport run aside from the long jacks.
warning massive score dump
Sightread. I dun like handstream

Sightread (I think)

sdcb yay

First AA. last time i played this i got a low A on 1.0

Working my way up to Destiny (Ghetto) Gamma

new goal is to AA on 1.1

3% DP increase.

First anything above B lol

lolwat is this, first play since I AA'd

I think this is a 0.4% increase.

Getting closer to AA

Sightread. I sort of knew what the steps were about from the preview, but the jacks make this the longest 2 and a half minutes ever T_T

First pass. I used to always fail at the 242 BPM jumpstream.

Sightread. Song and steps are so stupid lol

Still can't AA. Dynamo, I tried actually hitting the 32nds here and almost failed lol, how do you do them properly?

Surprised I combo'd to halfway in the 2nd chorus, but I used up all my stamina doing that and got a ton of CBs after.

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
I think I might make a tutorial thread for SM, similar to Dossar's one for FFR simfiles. Too bad I have no experience with screen/audio capturing, otherwise I would make a video tutorial for MSWGO. I'll likely break down how to hit the 32nds with screenshots and stuff when I get home from work; it's actually fairly manageable when you take a closer look at them.
All awesome stuff btw

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
Ok time for huge scoredump because I'm taking a small break from SM. I know I'm close to AA's on a few of these, I'm just setting goals so I can attempt them later.
Haven't played this in a really long time. Good trilling practice.

Getting better at reading the patterns here.

Got the AA.

Sightread.

Vocaloid 2 strong

I know I can AA this, just have to keep concentration and keep finger height consistent (i tend to not press down enough on some of the bursts)

Sightread.

I can AA if I don't boorush the 24th section in the ending rolls

Sightread. Looking to AA later.

Looking to SDCB soon. Always get CBs in the same spots in the streams.

Better balanced CBs

First AA.

First AA, 250 BPM jumpstream isn't impossible for me anymore

Proper SDCB score.

Sightread.

I can AA if I get lucky on the runningmen and anchored trills in the last stream

Didn't expect to pass but w/e.

Most of my greats were on jacks and hands.

Working on improving accuracy at higher speeds here, not the score.

Sightread. All CBs were from not pressing down enough.

Sightread. Lost concentration and got a lot of CBs in the dense parts of the JS

Sightread.

90% soon.

Sightread.

Trying to FC, regardless of PA.

Sightread I think. I don't remember playing this before

CBs in 2nd chorus were from me losing interest in the music and concentration

92% so close

88% is a new goal. 80% was old record

Sightread. Minijacks and awkward patterns are challenging.

Didn't notice I had this lol. While the steps are hard, it's not fun.

AA on 1.2 soon.

Sightread.

I also got a 78% on Vertex Gamma but idk where it is.Last edited by rCaliberGX; 08-28-2013, 06:02 PM.Comment

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
Have you experimented with different cmods? your PA seems to ruin several AA runs, disregard would be 94 % if you had a bit less greats. You should slow down a bit and try to aquire some stable accuarcy so you can atleast lower the greatcounts now imoComment

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
Yeah, it's also partly because of the patterns in Disregard, the triplets that are all over the streams cause me to rush a lot of the patterns. I have decent PA at lower speeds, but I'm not very consistent and drop random greats. At higher speeds I end up rushing and get early greats.
About Cmods, at first I played with around C600, but at around 220 BPM, 16ths started to get cramped and I increased it. I find C750 the most comfortable, but I can read up to C1000. I used to use C888 for a while when I had my 75hz monitor, but now that it's broken and I'm using a crappy HP 60hz, everything above C750 has noticeable screen tearing for me. Vsync didn't fix this either, and just added input lag decreasing accuracy.Comment

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
Your track record is strange, if you don't mind me saying...
I feel like a lot of these scores are really solid. As in, some of the songs on rates are REALLY good, and some similar songs on slower speeds are worse by comparison. I guess it's due to a lot of the sightreads? I can't tell. Your improvement is really good though, but Stian is right; definitely work on some accuracy in some songs with higher speeds. It'll make that accuracy to speed ratio curve much smoother.

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
Had to take a few minutes to search for it, never even knew it existed until now lol. Didn't know you can change the timing windows so easily ._.
edit: what the fuck my accuracy improved and i can read up to C1150. decided to stay with C850 because it's close to C888.
1 try.

2 tries.

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
Well I hope you didn't change anything else than SoundDrivers lmao altering those values are considered cheating, just to be on the safe side so you won't get discouraged later
Nice to hear that helped you (i tihnk)Comment

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
I see. If anything, I'd probably make the timing stricter to improve my timing haha.
The fruits of my labour.
Sightread.

Sightread. Got CBs from losing concentration.

Sightread.

Still can't do that jack. It's so out of place too, the only one at that length in the whole song.

PA improved I think. CBs are worse though.

First SDG and DDP.

First FC. I AAA'd up to and after the polyrhythms in the middle, but I got excited and dumped greats after.

First SDG. The CB count looks nice lol

nope

Lost concentration in the long 240 bpm jumpstream.

Close to AAA. Got greats in the bursts

Nope.

Ugh can't FC this.

NOPE.

Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
Why adjust the timing values directly? Just set higher judge value in the optionsComment
-
Re: Caliber's Track Record (why the hell not?)
I know that lol, just saying that I would rather make the windows stricter than looser.
Had a great SMO session with d4u7211. Many decent scores, some good, some amazing.
Sightread. I can improve this.

Sightread.

Sightread. Could have FC'd if I didn't make some stupid mistakes and boorushes.

First AA IIRC. Some of the burst transitions here are brutal.

On the topic of bursts, nabbed the AA on this.

First SDCB I think. Those 3 misses early on are from me forgetting to press a key on a jump.

Sightread. Some of the jacks are pretty tough.
First J4 AAA ever yeah
