These include things like moving further away from your router to make them not be able to melee attack you since it'll be too laggy
Was with you until here. No respect for abusing intentionally-caused lag.
But the rest does sound pretty cool. Would love to see some videos or something.

I don't do the lag thing very much, but it is a useful strategy sometimes. I've had trouble meleeing enemies sometimes when it was laggy so that now I feel melee is just not even worth using because of the times when you can't hit anyone because it's so laggy and then you lose. Those times alone probably are more than the times that I actually lose with a ranged weapon so there's no way melee can compete with them for me. On rail temple you can just just keep jumping on rail repeatedly to avoid melee, but on no other stage is there a free pass to avoid being melee'd with little effort like this.
I also thought of another really cool trick I've used before. You shoot a wall and the game's lag correction leads it to believe you hit an enemy. It usually only works if you just barely didn't get around the wall when shooting at them, but it's another neat little trick. Maybe I could try to do it if and when I can make a video but it's hard to do, so no guarantees.
I'll try to get the vid up in about 3 hours. I'm going to use a camera that I'm unfamiliar with but it can supposedly record up to 90 seconds, but that might be wrong. I'll probably just try to end one match really fast, and it's good that that's how I normally play, anyway. I hope it can really record 90 seconds but even if it's only like 30, with enough tries I could probably get a match over fast enough. So I think I'll be able to get some video up at least.
Alright, video added into initial post. Sorry if that makes you too excited since it's still uploading, but it'll be done in about 2 hours, 15 minutes. Also very sorry my hand was in the way too much so it was hard to see. I'll try to make a better one and add that in later, but it's uploading very slow so it'll be a while. Also, check out this funny little new quote someone made about me:
"I was playing online... I just encountered a person named *music note*Miku*music note*. He/She had the most horrible weapons... Angel Bow SR/SH +3, DCS +4... Also had Eyetracks with same mods... But the worst of all, he/she had Gemini Orbitars with the same mods... I can still hear the Geminis laughing as they killed me... Fast and silent... It was impossible to dodge. They just kept looping and looping and looping... I could never get up close and the match never lasted over 1 1/2 minutes... Worst part was that he/she had Slipshot... It hurts... Gemini's laughter still echoing in my head... It hurts so bad!
Yeah, so watch out if you ever encounter this person."
Alright, just too many people have tried to tell me that Geminis are so cheap and I can't do good with any non-looping weapons so I made this. Melee'd to death by a Taurus Arm. And it was really laggy so it was harder to do than normal, too. http://youtu.be/2AYP6SComNM
Sorry to bump this thing again, but I would like to admit that I think I was wrong. Here's what I think was really going on:
I use a weapon called Gemini Orbitars that is broken in a very unfun way. In particular, it's undodgable without a particular power or mod on your weapon to be able to dodge it. I saw this as part of why they were so good since I could just always kill the enemies so quickly without the fear of them dodging to stall long enough that the rest of them could kill my teammates. And yes, I can almost always win with them.
But here's what everyone else thought of what I was doing: I used the least fun weapon to fight against since there's essentially nothing you can do about it. It is supposedly a common courtesy to not use Geminis. Since I used them every round, it was so unfun for the good opponents I had that they all left the room. Then I just wasted the newbies a whole bunch of matches in a row. Even if one good opponent joined, he'd just see his team wiped out super fast and leave, so there wasn't really a way they could put together a team that could really fight me when there were so many newbies dragging it down that were the only ones that were willing to stay against me. So really, I'd win like 14/15 and then just go on a huge winning spree until my battery ran out, with really not much chance of losing since they were so bad. I had basically taken over the room and made it no fun for anyone.
When I actually use a normal weapon, that's not on most people's ban lists, I only win about 90% of the time and am much less overwhelming and can't just kill the enemy angel super fast if I'm not my team's angel. I like it how the game randomly generates one of 108 weapons for an angel, and yet not even one of them has the mod that make it possible to dodge Geminis.
Also whoever said it was hard to work to get really good in this game in that other thread, you were correct. Also I'm clearing my stupid ignore list because I realized how stupid it was.
