Pad is pretty difficult -- passed some 12s!

Now that I have whey protein and a proper warmup I'm improving much faster than when I played earlier this year. I had a month hiatus in april (the last serious session I had was in late march and then I played for one day in the april funworld meetup) and just recently got into playing again a few days ago. I'm going to be posting some of the scores I obtained in the two sessions I've had since the hiatus to see my progress

    OpenITG stuff

So since OpenITG doesn't have any other noteskins besides metal (at least from what I've seen) and I'm used to note, I'm not using openitg anymore for pad play. I'm switching to Stepmania 3.95 which has roll support; the scores in this thread that aren't openitg were from 3.9 but I'm making the transition to 3.95 next session.

Does anyone know how to implement note for OpenITG? It's incredibly frustrating seeing my great count double due to metal and cel. It also takes 3 less misses to fail on OpenITG and that's very unappealing; I might as well just stop when I drop below half a lifebar on OpenITG.

I'm still playing with marvelouses off because right now MA is arbitrary considering I'm building up my speed and stamina and I constantly adjust when I see a mix of marvelous and perfect. The only way I'm gaining footspeed right now is building up my stamina.

    No bar scores

First nobar pass since I was 11 years old lol.

Also my first nobar pass on this song. I didn't get this one back when I was 11.

This was pretty sick. CB was dumb.

Bar (in my case, chair) scores

    Previous session 12s:

    Pulling Down Never Pass

    Wooly Mammoth Stomp Pass

    Today's session:

Somerset Blather On and On almost AA

Euphoria Expert Pass (NoMines) <-- 12

One of my repetitive 8th note warmup files haha. CANDY "STREAM Special"

    Maxx Unlimited 1 CB

party4u holy nite mix "GROOVE RADAR Special" A

    Trip Machine Phoenix "TRIP Special"

    Fascination Maxx Heavy A <-- 12

1 CB on The Legend of Max (in the bottom left corner of my pad the wire for the down panel is under it so I hit that spot and got a good)

    PSMO almost AA

Earthquake in the Southern Texas Canyon Pass. Hauled like a boss at the end. <-- 12

    bag 0.5x speedmod

    Max 300 AA

    Paranoia Survivor Heavy FC

I grew up on DDR songs and they are like classics.. learning to do these makes the current meta much easier

In any case, sick scores Roy.. The 21 great Unlimited stands out because its such a pain to time. Do LoM and PS270 nobar next time?

I could do Paranoia Survivor Heavy nobar next time but definitely not Legend of Max. The ending is way too fast for me nobar at the moment haha.
