.67 To Be Released on Friday!

Normally I don’t announce versions ahead of the release but since we are just finishing up a few last features before the new version launches, I feel confident we can deliver on this date. I will not however list the features until release time as you never know when something may not go as expected.

I personally think that one of the features will be as revolutionary as the shop/credits were when they became part of FFR, maybe even more revoutionary.

Can’t wait to get the version out. If we finish sooner than Friday then we will release sooner.

Dj RageVI Uber Rave Song Pack

This pack from Dj RageVI is now available within the Music@FFR Store. 5 songs total when you purchase the pack including “Uber Rave”. Money from all sales goes towards the artist (Dj RageVI) and to pay for FFR server costs. Purchases are available for immediate download after online payment.

As most of you know the store called Music@FlashFlashRevolution (supports the artists that contribute to FFR) has been open for a few days and I thank everyone who has purchased the FGJ! Music Pak 1. I know that a few of you had some questions and I wanted to address them here.

1) We now accept credit cards and paypal for online purchases. The money is sent to the artists by me personally and I couldn’t be more happy. It makes me happy to give something in return for them being so generous to us.

2) The way you receive music depends on the artist. Some artists (FGJ!) allow their files to be downloaded after purchase while some may only want the CD printed and shipped.

3) All transactions are completely secure and are in SSL (https://)

Thanks again to everyone has purchased the FGJ! Music Paks.. Look for more titles from other artists to be available soon (Rage, Kankaoh and many others).

FFR Store (not the one in the game) Opens!

After much thought we have finally opened the FFR online store which we call “Music@FlashFlashRevolution”. At the shop you will be able to purchase a variety of music including Full CD’s and special compilations/versions of CD’s from artists that you cannot purchase anywhere else. We will also be selling T-Shirts and other merchandise here.

ALL PROFITS go to the artists / groups and a portion of the profits is donated to FFR to help with server costs. Our goal is simply to continue our push to get artists noticed and keep FFR running at 110% If you have ever thought about donating to our free game (which will remain free of course!!! That has always been the idea) this would be a good way to get something back in return.

The FGJ! FFR Pack is up for purchase and download with many more artists to soon follow. We will soon begin printing of CD’s to be shipped for these artists also.

10 Minutes til Showtime

Just wanted to remind everyone that we have about 10 minutes until showtime (from the time of this post). Spook Will be taking over the FFR radio with non-stop mixing for atleast 2 hours. We are playing a few never before heard Arktisk tunes and a few other songs until spook goes on.

Spook is Taking Control of the Radio

Spook Goblin will be once again spinning a live set for you guys on Weds starting at 7pm CST (5pm pacific & 8pm eastern). As always it will be an original show that you don’t want to miss. Even better you will be able to listen in both Hi and Lo bandwidth and Winamp or Media Player can be used as with all FFR Radio broadcasts now.

For those of you who have missed the show in the past. DO NOT MISS IT!!! Spook is not merely playing tunes but doing live mixing on the turntables for the duration of the show.

Turkey Day is Upon Us!

Well it is finally here.. The day we inject turkeys with steroids and then kill them to show thanks. But on this day I do not want my plump turkey to be wasted without showing what I am thankful for.

I am thankful FFR is alive and kicking

I am thankful more than 80,000,000 unique people people have visited the site since last year

I am thankful for all 170,000 registered members

I am thankful for FFR being enjoyed over 100,000 times a day

I am thankful for nearly 700 new members per day

I am thankful that the forum is improving

I am thankful for all the stepfile makers (can’t list them all)

I am thankful for all the artists who have agreed to let us use music for no charge

I am thankful for all the PM’s I get from people who want to help with the site

I am thankful that the FFR chat has survived all the spammers

I am thankful that NewfoundSystems has custom created the FFR chat for us

I am thankful we all have been blessed enough to have the internet

I am thankful schools have started banning FFR (NOT!)

I am thankful Arch0wl is only 25% as mean to newbies as he used to be

I am thankful for all the mods that continously help out on FFR for the love of the game

I am thankful my ISP now provides 3mbit connections (ffr is remotely hosted and has nothing to do with my ISP)

I am thankful I have family to celebrate thanksgiving

I am thankful I have a crazy 2 year old son who always finds a way jump on me from behind and nearly kill me

Dj Cynispin Spinning Live on FFR Radio!
