Token 16: It’s Been a Long Road

Posted in Uncategorized on April 30th, 2007224 Comments »

Can you guys believe we are on token 16 already? It seems like just yesterday we were playing with our first token. You will find though unfortunately that this token won’t ad up to much. Addition is the key. This is seriously a beginner level token. I plan to reduce my inbox full of complaints on how difficult the tokens have been. If you token noobs are reading this, enjoy this token because the next one is going to be so difficult you will go crying to your mamma.

I would also like to attention whore the hell out this moment and say that I have the stomach flu tonight.

Lets get you started.

SotW (4th week of April), Cash Cow and Divinity

Posted in Song of the Week on April 30th, 200720 Comments »

New songs of this week.

SotW #1 of this week is Cash Cow.
Song is by We Are Scientists, an American rock band featuring Keith Murray (guitar and
lead vocals), Chris Cain (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Michael Tapper (drums and
backing vocals), formed in 2000. This is their first song for FFR.
Steps are by Mead1. Not overall very hard but BPM is a bit faster, and some 16ths and
doubles are a bit tricky. Our rating is 3/6 (Tricky).
You can find this song in Rock section.

SotW #2 is Divnity.
Song is by DJ Sane 2007. Already Troglodytic Epica is in FFR, so this is the second song.
Tight trance with unique rhythms of percussion. Steps are by hi19hi19.
Song isn’t too fast but a lot of 32nd bursts at the middle part make it a lot harder
to hit accurately, or keep combo. So we rate it 4.5/6 (Challenging).
This song is currently in Funk section, will be moved to Dance2 section.

Have fun with SotW,

New Shirts? Curious Minds Want to Know.

Posted in Uncategorized on April 29th, 200752 Comments »

The FFR T-Shirts have been a huge success. I want to take time out to thank everyone who has bought 1..2..3 or more of the available shirt designs. We have literally shipped hundreds of shirts and every day I am on the lookout for someone wearing one out at the Brunswick zone, Best Buy or the local mall if I happen to be out.

We are itching to get the next design geared up and out the door so that we can have them printed and ready in time for our next convention. So in order to move the remaining odd sizes and general leftovers, we have decided to include…….

A 3 month subscription with every T-Shirt purchase. This will give you access to the beta team version of FFR, access to new songs up to 3-4 weeks early, the subscriber forum and many other things besides just knowing that you are helping out FFR.

This promotion will last until this Friday. So, if you want to help FFR and hate shopping with your parents, nab an FFR shirt. You will receive a 3 month subscription as an extra thank you. We will automatically see your purchase and will activate the subscription of the person purchasing the T-Shirt. (unless you leave directions that you want the subscription to be received by someone else)

Thanks again for the great success of the FFR T-Shirts. Any shirt design purchase of any size will be valid with this offer and as always, shipping is included on all U.S. orders.

I almost forgot CLICK HERE FOR THE FFR SHOP MAIN PAGE.

Cheers,

Synthlight + AnotherUnique, The Master of Shipping.

Profile Voting / Reporting & SpeedMod Tests

Posted in Uncategorized on April 28th, 200779 Comments »

Many of you are already aware that last night we added a new feature to profiles that allow you to not only vote a “thumbs up” or thumbs down” on each profile but we have also added a reporting feature that looks like a “!” in the top right of each profile. The “!” is used for profiles that are not appropriate for FFR. We will be incorporating additional stats for profiles that show how many and what kind of votes you get. People who abuse the reporting system will be banned from it.

Subscribers / Beta Team members today are testing Scroll rate tests for FFR and once we get a few bugs fixed, we will be releasing this to the public. Subscribers and & Beta team members should go to the Subscriber forum and check out the newest thread for the beta link.
