In memorum, Stephen Van Ness (aka Jellygod) and Card
Hello fellow FFR’ers.
As many of you may already know, our friend and old-time avid community member Jellygod (or Stephen Van Ness) had passed away only a few weeks ago. This has saddened us and brought to our attention just how close our community is. I just wanted to take a moment to remember Jelly and say that we shall all miss him dearly.
Furthermore, I have already begun passing around a card and sheet of paper, being mailed around to people that wanted to be involved, who are signing the card and writing how they remember Steve and how great a guy he was, then mailing it on to the next person. We only have about 8-10 people involved right now, but I would really like to see more people involved, as I find this would be a great thing to do to help support his friends and family in a time of need. The final delivery, once I make sure that everyone who wants to be involved is, will go to danceguy (or Peter), one of Steve’s closest friends, so that he, eurostud and ickalanda can give it to Steve’s parents. If you want to know more, please feel free to view this: http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/vbz/showthread.php?t=116013 and please, let’s all be respectful.
So, if you would like to be involved, please PM me with your mailing info. And phone number (for texting/update purposes) and I will make sure the card gets to each person and continued on.
Thanks for listening in,
Sincerely
- revolutionomega
FFRMas 2010 – from Dec 19th to Dec 25th
Hi, everyone,
As many of you remember, FFR went down right before Christmas last year. So, to make up for your FFRMas getting stolen by the Grinch, we’re gonna have some awesome fun this time around. First off, we’re gonna celebrate 7 days of Christmas by releasing 3 songs a day for a week; they will start off easy and get harder as we go on. All FFRmas songs will be put in the Funk genre, and moved to proper genres after the event.
To kick off the first day of FFRMas, here are three new files:
Arrrrrr by Jon Brownell, Stepped by Vote4Nixon (Easy)
Little Star by Ikodo Moonstrife, Stepped by Silvuh (Standard)
Pathos by Darkest Hour, Stepped by cedolad (Easy)
On another note, aperson has fixed the issues with the server that were causing e-mails to not be properly delivered. You should be able to request password resets and verify newly registered accounts without any issues now.
Have fun!

Credit Jackpot!
Today we’re releasing our latest mini-game, called Credit Jackpot!
Everyday, you’ll be able to guess how many arrows will be hit tomorrow. Whomever is the closest guess will win the jackpot of credits! The amount of credits it costs to enter can change, so some days the jackpot will be really sweet!
Head on over to http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/arrows/ to submit your guess for tomorrow. You’ll be able to watch the standings throughout the day to see who is the closest, but the only time that matters is once it hits midnight!
Let me know what you think in the comments!

Arrow Guessing Game!
As you may have seen from my previous post, we’re about to launch a new mini-game on the site. As you guessed it, it’s an ARROW GUESSING GAME!
Every day, you’ll be able to enter a contest (with credits) by guessing how many arrows will be hit tomorrow. Whoever is closest, will win! But, two things need to happen before we release the tool
1. UI: I’m looking for someone to mockup in photoshop, paint, gimp, whatever, a interface for the contest page! There needs to be space to submit a guess, and then another area for the current arrow count for today, as well as # of people who guessed, credits at stake, and how many people are still in the running for the prize! Please send submissions as a jpg or png (but save the originals)
2. A name! “Arrow Guessing Game” sounds kinda lame… so I’m taking suggestions for another name
How to submit your UI’s and Names: Send an email to [email protected] or [email protected] (You should be able to figure out which email is for which) with your submission. Multiple submissions are fine.
Check back tomorrow for the results!
