It turns out I wasn't as synchronized as I could have been. I just changed the GlobalOffset in SM from -.125 to -.12 and I'm seeing a lot more fantastics now :)

yeah, I definitely stopped using that horrendous noteskin that comes with SM 4.0. Thanks for the input!
