I see a lot of parts that could be added and be fixed so it would be good. you have a some of it down packed but... Your screwing up a few beats and adding in some jumps where not needed. When it comes to making simfiles, use the rate changer to find notes that overlay eachother, like beats in the back. Change to 0.7 or a bit higher or lower depending on if you still can't tell. But in the best opinion, i say don;t work on it. Its just a horid song all around and doesn't have much things to follow, its a boring song and pretty much can't be changed unless it was made for pad. Anyways that my opinion. Hope you work on some good songs out there and make some good files. :] WTFBrandon/G-Spot

It's up to the way you do it. Often, the problem with how repetitive the file is lies within the song choice. This song may be cool, but it doesn't exactly make for a very fun file. Also, having repetition is better than having inconsistencies.

I would have done that, but that would have made the steps incredibly repetitive...

The problem lies in what you do with what you hear. A huge problem is consistency. You'll follow a set of sounds, but while the music doesn't change (the sounds keep relooping), you randomly go out and follow other steps. You don't have PR (pitch relevant/cy)patterns- as the pitches ascend and descend, so should the steps. Your poor jack usage is also caused by this. Some patterns simply won't be too fun to play (constant 8ths on one arrow for example). The sounds you chose to layer together often weren't exactly the best choices, either.

Well none of my files are going to be even close to acceptable. I put the steps in based on how I hear them... and I can't really change that...

Eh, I was not expecting it to be great since I made it in an hour, and saying jacks that were not necessary is like saying I hear the song wrong. Honestly I felt they were needed. But yeah you are right, it's definitely not a file I would play really... I'll just delete it and stop making files, I try to make them too technical and no one seems to like it ~_~.

No PR used, you pretty much made it free form, you were going with one beat, then then stopped when the beat was still going, needs lots of work.

Not the greatest patterns, it was alright I guess. Alot of uneeded jacks. At around the two minute mark where it got quieter you could have had a bPM change. Also, the simfile wasn't too pitch relevant, and looked a litle bit boring honestly. I hope this is like your first file ever, because honestly it wasn't that great. Not too great of a song choice also.
