there's no one behind the camera playing. Pay close attention to the whammy ba rmotions and the strumming. If the strumming doesn't convince you then watch his whammy bar motions. They don't follow a steady rhythm, so you can tell that he's doing them; this is all before the audio and the vidoe desync, though.

Theres a technique in Guitar Hero where you can "hammer on" the notes, where you can press the next button instead of strumming if they are single notes close enough together and if they are on a different lane. He hammers on all the streams.
