Aww.. I'm stuck on him! I guess it's just luck. You need the perfect circumstances of Battle Gems to beat him. The ideal one is: He Whammies you. You get Amp Overload. You use it on him on his part, and he loses. But that only happens rarely... I once got it set up perfectly but blew it (I amped at the wrong time.)
