I am going to steal this. I've been looking for a way to do this FOREVER. I got used to playing TS and then couldn't play SM and definitely couldn't ever play FFR lolol. I had to make a custom 40% mini for Stepmania, and then had to lower my speedmod drastically to play FFR and it hurt my reading skills. So yeah I'm gonna do this tomorrow and then from there.. good luck everybody else ;)
technically, yeah. I have 2 playing windows. one is the real version of FFR, and the other is a magnified recording of the first using OBS in realtime.
At the bottom of actual FFR window, is a giant black box that masks a good portion of arrows spawning and entering the screen. This setup shows that missing area that's off-screen.
I'm magnifying the playing area & restreaming it in OBS using the 'Preview Stream' function, so I'm not playing on an FFR that's 1/10th its size. The result, a slightly blurred FFR (for re-sizing) and 1/3rd extra reading area.
In a nutshell, it's expanding the area of notes all the way to the point of where they actually spawn into the game. You can't make it any bigger than this, but it's smaller with default R^3 settings. Playing on 3.16x speed when I used to play 2.4x speed. I can play all the way up to 3.5x speed using this but I like the extra notes on the screen.

Not really confusing, just stretching FFR so I can play it outside of the actual FFR game area, and then resizing the area using a program.
