In mod selection you can always force 6/8k to play on chart should you not really care about leaderboard stats, and this game mode is relatively new so there isn't alot of maps for it (I think this song is the first ranked map for osu!mania)

k, disappointed. osu!'s keybinding options are completely useless, there are only 3 songs and no one charts 6k or 8k... Obviously no one actually plays this if my terrible 7k score got a #10 ranking. Maybe I should look into trying o2mania :/ I was impressed that the railgun song actually had keysounds though.

It's more so O2Jam than Beatmania (Since it's just basically keys only) but it's still very similar.
