Might i suggest, i can't tell if you have a fairly flat keyboard or larger keys, but since i switch from a keyboard with larger keys, which takes more of an effort to press, i've had an amazing skill boost, although i still need to use my bigger keyboard to do some massive jumpstream files like gunkienen. I think if you mess around with different keyboards you'll also notice a skill boost. You seem to read the notes fairly well.
