Thanks to the first guy. As for those of you towards the bottom, who the hell do you think you are to tell people what they can do on a public forum. I believe that none of you are an admin, so you have no authority whatsoever to say anything about how anyone posts. You need to get a life if someone asking a dumb question gets you this mad. you bring up good points, but newbs will alway be treated this way until they get smart and not try to be all high and mighty and know wen to not ask stupid questions.

there are the few select that know hat right off the bat and admit that they are newbs and get over it. but they know what to do and what not to do. annoing peple is what not to do. no one likes being annoyed.

I say that it doesn't matter how many posts you have, but how much respect you have.

Here's my definitions...

N00b: Someone who has no idea what they're doing, and has little or no respect for anyone, and little or no respect is given to them. If people on the forum respect you, you aren't a n00b.

Newbie: Someone who is new to the boards. Usually around 1 or 2 months.

It's possible to be a newbie, but not a n00b, and it's possible to be a n00b, but not a newbie.

I mean, here, I have 0.7 posts per day. 33 posts. At the other forum I go to, I have 11 posts per day, and 3224 posts. I have a lot of respect there, even though I came in having no idea what I was doing. I changed my ways, and now I'm a mod there.

So, what I'm trying to say is, just because they might be idiots now, doesn't mean they can't change.
