well... i thought that installing win xp on my comp would make my experence a lot better. So i install it, once it is all set up, it wont let me get on the internet. I have no idea why, and the only other computers at my house are a 400mhz and a 222mhz, so... if anyone has had this happen before, please let me know, i have tried everything!

If you have a cable modem it might be diasbled in the Network Settings, or you didnt tell XP how to find it...
If you have dialup..Well, your an idiot if you cant set that up. -
OMFG, i have been trying to get it to work since i originally posted, and i just FVCKING GOT MSBLAST. wtf, i thought that was supposed to be disabled. When i try to restart, it gives me a blue screen of death, and says something about a post config shit, wtf am i supposed to do????Comment

and judgeing by the fact that i am using XP right now, and my computer is the only one that has it, i got the internet to work!Comment

yo light do you have a firewall or mcafee's firewall installed and is it enabled on your comp?
cause my dad and I had the same problem once we disabled it and uninstalled it the net worked.Comment
