Evangelion? is it gunna suck?

Now before all you otaku freaks get all animey on me let me explain.

It was announced that evangelion is going to be turned into a live action movie, (and that sucks enough on its own, live action movie! ha! that only works in hentai) and to top it all off its going to have a low buget (at least a low budget for that type of movie) of under 100mil.

Now someone explain to me how a live action evangelion movie isnt going to suck for under 100 million.

Oh by the way I officially obtained a tape containing the conversaition that started this movie:

Scriptwriter: Hey! I gotta idea. Instead of bothering to think up another idea I think I'll just do a movie on evangelion, and to keep my creative effort to a minimum it wont be an original movie but the whole entire series cramed into two hours.

Producer: Sounds awsome! Hey, lets do it in live action, that'll really screw it up!

Scriptwriter: Yeah!

Yep for real thats it.
But we all know we're all going to see it at least once so they're going to make $ anyways.

Besides, all Japanese films are low budget. Remember that dancing movie?

And even if The Live Action Evangelion doesnt do well, I'll buy every tape of it.

I liked evangelion.
But i am going to go see it anyways.
And if it does stink, it might not be as bad as Gundam Savior.

they made the lord of the rings trilogy for a combined budget of 350 million dude.... but since they filmed it in New Zealand and had NZ companies do most of the work they had over half a billion to spend..


they have WETA, who did the special effects for Lotr, heading up the SE team.. The rest of the production line up was no less amazing. it is more or less the dream team of production companies working on this.. I expect it to be at least decent and worthy of the name Evangelion, though doubtfull it will ever surpass the series in awesomeness.

its an anime... where theses kids are picked to pilot these mech type things called evangelions (i think).. i havent seen it in a while someone back my up... oh yea dn the pilots are called angels..

um lets see if I remember this EXACTLY....

Year is 2014(I think.)
Second impact has occured in the year 2000 in antartica.
Reason yet unknown how this happened they never explain.
Angels(these would be the bad guys) are unleashed and half of the human race is dead and practically everything weapon (including Nukes) are ineffective. Years pass. Nerv is created by the organization Sele(Damnit. I don't know if that's spelled right or not. where's Jewpin when you need him?).
The EVA Project is started. Eva's are(and I think) composed of Angel DNA from a captured angel named Adam(he was the first angel. suprised they managed to capture him). They have the armor so they can be controlled. The only way for an Eva to actually to be run, pilots were needed. The first was Rei Ayanami. Rei is a creation of Gendo's wife Yui(Woot! I remember). More like clone. first runnings weren't that well(you would have to watch the series otherwise I'll be spoiling this way too much). More eva's were created. The main three pilots Are Shinji Akari, Rei Ayanami, and Asuka S. Langley. Get this, they're only 14! You need people that young to pilot them.

You won't ever see this anime on tv cause it has religious issues in it (ie: angels and alot of other things if you notice throughout the series). So good luck finding it in stores anywhere.
It's a good series.
