One thing about Iraq that I don't think anyone has mentioned is this: by invading Iraq, every single terrorist who is out to get us is taking up the challenge and going THERE, not HERE. It is a literal fly trap for these guys. You don't see terrorists attacking in the US or Europe much anymore, do you? All of them are attacking Iraq instead of attacking us. We may not have the right to do that to the Iraqis, but this is something that needed to be done for our safety. It wasn't about oil, because we don't have any oil from Iraq yet and the prices are nice and high just how the Liberals have been asking for for the past decade. And guess what: SUV sales are down and people are buying environmentally friendly cars! Yay! Yay! The terrorists are too stupid to attack us! Yay! Yay! Nobody likes all that fast food crap anymore! Bush will win, Kerry is weak and indecisive. The liberals don't even like him, they only feel, for some reason, that he can beat Bush. It's unlikely that he will win. And if he does, I'll welcome him as President, such is the way of the United States. Congress is under Republican control right now anyway, and unless that will change when the new terms begin, he will be a highly ineffective President.

Also, to everyone that mentioned the prisoner abuse things, are you aware of what went on in all the wars the US has ever been in? Or that anyone has ever been in? How many WW2 movies have you seen where a guy is in charge of some prisoners and the first thing the captain says to the guy is "Don't kill them all"? Did you see any of the media about what the soldiers during the Korean and Viet Nam conflicts did to the prisoners captured there?
