PS: I think the reason it looked fake was because the guy didn't seem to be screaming a whole lot. But then again, everybody in that room was yelling, and the American would have been dead by the time the knife got half way through the artery (sp?). Plus, his head was pretty pale from either lack of lighting or obvious and extreme loss of blood.

i've done alot of biology...and i can tell you that he was easily still alive for a while after that knife cut through the main artery in back of his neck.

loss of blood doesn't kill you for a while...ew...umm

well you kind of have to define alive. i think a good guess is until they cut through his spinal cord...

The man wasn't killed because of the treatment of the Iraqis. It was because he was Jewish. Muhammed proclaimed somewhere, I can't remember where, to kill jews. Hang them, decapitate them, burn their limbs, and other such things. The men are actually praying, not necessarily yelling.

You obviously have no idea what he said, but just took the word of some angry southerner who thinks all other religions are going to hell. Mohammed actually encouraged getting along with other religions (specifically Judaism and Christianity) and actually took a lot of crap from other religions too. Another thing to keep in mind is that Islam was the most tolerant society to other religions ever to come about back in its day...so how could you say the man who explained the principles of the religion also said to murder? The reason arabs and jews don't get along too well is because of conflicts over Israel/Jerusalem and who the holy land belongs to. Before you hate someone, understand them a little. You remind me of the guys who beat up Indian people on the street after 9/11 because they thought that's what Arabs looked like.
These are extremists, kinda like a modern version of the KKK. Get your facts straight next time you make an extreme argument or you risk getting owned by people who actually do know what they're talking about.

That video didn't look fake to me....to be honest...i was kinda bored for the first 5 minutes....then when they started i was like holy shit....i mean the guy was on the floor screeming and he was totally defenceless...he wasnt drugged or anything...he was just thrown to the ground and decapitated with a crappy little knife....very...very...very...sad...

im extremely horrified at this video. i know its real.. and it makes me sick. i cant believe people would actually do this.. i hope that it never happens again.. i saw it just last night and i feel like throwing up still... it was just that scary to me. i have never seen such a display of umm.. just plain SICK behaviour.. i dont want to talk about this.. but i dont know how to get it off my mind and make me feel better again.. i told my mother i saw this.. and i still wish i had listened to my older brother when he said not to watch it. i am an idiot and i pray that no one else goes to watch that video. it is indeed tragic, traumatic, disgusting, dispicable.. and the list goes on. if anyone can speak to me about this and try to make me feel better.. it really would make me feel much better.

I take the news with a grain of salt, as I know they often try to blow things out of proportion.
