Time travel, like in Back to the future, is impossible, because time is not a real force, but a measurement of change. Time is a measurement of other forces from state a to state b. I can never consider it more than that, and i've read a lot that tries to make it out to be more, but it is not real like gravity, it is human invention. (Note: humans did not invent the force of gravity, just the word and definition) . People who read Stephen Hawking might offer up an alternative, such that it is possible, but it isn't even discussing the same idea anymore, so no, it just isn't going to happen.

The same would also apply to pausing time.

While true, this is a superpowers topic, thus the plausibility of certain powers is not really in question here. I am just as likely to be able to control time as I am to be able to fly.

Anyways, I think teleporting would be a better power than flying. Other than just the thrill of flying, it's mainly a mode of transportation, the fastest of which would be teleportation. Though for myself, I would like mind control the best.

That way, I can fly, I can shoot balls of energy outta my hands, I can teleport, I can read minds, and such...

but you must have that energy to manipulate it.. think of it like this. in dbz, a farmer with a shotgun had like 50 power... while raditz was at a couple thousand.. you still wouldn't be able to shoot energy balls and fly.. just focus your energy in one place better...

Has anyone ever read the Sword of Truth series? Having Jagang's powers would rule..
Jagang is a dreamwalker, he can instantly enter anyone's mind and cause extreme pain, or w/e he feels like doing to them, thus having the ability to control everyone. Cept this is a fantasy novel, and the main character has a magic bond that causes all that follow him to have a resistance to Jangang's ability...yah.

Personally, I'd like to have the instant heal power. Get shot - healed. Fall off a cliff - healed. Break your neck - healed.

I'd like the ability to stop time. I mean, anyone who's played any of the Final Fantasy games probably hated having Stop used on them. So you could just turn around and use Stop on an opponent.
