I'm just trying to find something that is bare-bones, and only simulates band instruments and stuff. No trance, techno or anything.

Dude, Acid is awesome. But your right about everything else. I don't really like Garage Band, but if he's just looking for sounds and stuff, go for it. I'd much rather get Acid that Garage Band. Acid costs much more I think...I dunno. Acid loop discs are lots of money, but have sweet stuff on it. You can even drop them on FL.Comment
