RED ALERT!!! MORE CORNANDBEANS AHEAD!!!
We bring you another long overdue cornandbeans file, by long time forumite Neonatrias. Red Alert is a short and very up-tempo song. Most of the file is 185bpm, but it is only 496 notes total. Not TOO difficult, although Sunday’s file will be easier. I managed to black flag it twice in a row, but no AAA yet.
You can find it in Misc. Page 2, upper left hand corner. We are working very hard on either combining Hip Hop and Funk together into 1 group and making the empty one Dance 2 OR adding a 10th genre for Dance 2. Expect one of these in the near future, to make it easier to sort through Dance… all 7+ pages of it as of now.

Maybe make dance 1 tricky, standard, etc. and dance 2 very difficult, challenging, etc.
That way i won’t have to sort through songs like spontaneous hydroxide to get to what i want.

i have an idea, you can decide if you like it or not, dance 1 should have all the beginer songs, and dance 2 should have all the advanced songs
kinda like what Xezial is saying
dance 1 would have all songs 5 and below (or 6 and below)
and dance 2 would have all songs 6 and (or 7 and up)

Perhaps instead of dance 2 you could have either a trance and/or techno genre (the combined two make up a huge part of dance) instead of simply “dance 2″ which is really kind of redundant IMO.

I like the idea of sorting them by difficulty, I have the same opinion. Also, I agree that the song should be challenging, not difficult.

in regards to doug’s question. its because people are stupid thats why its a big deal. the song is soo short but kinda fun. style awesome is pretty hilarious. steps are fine by me, easy to get a good PA on too.

The song is actually not bad, atleast, the original wasn’t bad, I have the original of this song on my mp3 player I dont remember the song starting to randomly fade halfway through on it like it did on ffr, was this an edit from the original?

Style: Awesome? Why not Siren or Alert? It doesn’t matter. It’s just a really odd song.
I’d say that the best thing you can do is throw purchased and secret together. They don’t NEED seperate groups. Dance 2 should be with lyrics, and all of Dance 1 should be no lyric stuff. I think that is about even, but I’m not sure.

yea i love the idea of dance 1 being easier songs and dance 2 being harder ones. Makes things alot easier for those who want harder songs. I would also love to see more purchased songs to be added to the mix…that would be nice >.

i am still under the impression that you couldnt or at least didnt want to spend the time change the whole scipt to make new genres or combine them. last thing i remember reading was to just shut up and wait for third style. and tloz you cant add more purchased songs it was put in the script to only allow 12 in that section which would also make it stupid Roi Siveran to combine secret and purchase because then only 12 dance songs could go in there. and never the less were supposed to be talking about the song not about stuff unrelated. go to the forums for that.

it’s only 39 other comments, I just read through 40. Song’s good, steps are meh, and as for the genre discussion…just stick with your gut instinct. Whatever you Mods and Admins think is the best idea for ffr it will work for me. Good luck lowering dance titles though.

I think you guys should instead of making a second dance page, make a page just for techno, and take all the techno songs from dance and put them into the techno genre, this may help just because atleast a third of the dance songs are actually techno.
or just start making all future dance songs misc, secret, or purchased.
