Dance To Moroder skill token unlocked Posted on: July 22, 2007, at 06:41:08pm I unlocked it on 7/22/07 To unlock it, play From Mount Chorus (Misc, level 6 of 12) and pass the song with 15 or less averages (there are 1051 steps in this song). This is the 31st skill token released for the "crazy skill token month of July". This is a hard skill token to unlock (for beginners and maybe intermediate players as well). At level 6, with 1051 steps, passing this song is hard enough already. My first advice for this song is to test yourself to see if you can even pass it. If you can't, then don't bother getting the skill token. The hardest part of the song to pass, in my opinion, is the 2nd chorus (the part where lyrics go "from mount chorus, a song that reach the end of the earth...." and then followed by that electronic part). Whenever I get pass the 2nd chorus, I barely have any health left. I think the electronic chorus of the song are very hard to pass (for beginners anyway) because it's a long stream of fast moving arrows, so they look like they bunch up all together. My second advice, which is very important, is to NOT BUTTON MASH!!! Button mashing leads to many boos and you have a higher chance of getting an average. Learn the arrows of the songs. If you don't think you can hit it, just accept the miss (don't do it too often though or else you'll lose a lot of health). However, try to learn where the jumps are and hit them (they usually occur during the verses and the "from mount chorus..." chorus). Hitting jumps save your health from dropping by two. As for the electronic chorus of the song, if the stream of fast moving arrows are too close for you to read, my advice is to focus on only two of the arrows and try to hit them only. This is what I did, and although it doesn't work 100% of the time, if you can hit those two arrows constantly (and maybe an occassional 3rd and 4th arrow), then you should have barely enough health to pass the electronic chorus of the song. Following my 2nd advice, I pass the song with only 100 boos and about 250 misses. |
