Cage the Elephant

Saw these guys tonight. It was a good time. Cold War Kids were the opener, and while they sounded good, I was so fucking tired that I wanted nothing more than this concert to be over with. I got maybe 5 hours of sleep over two naps today, so I had no energy to stand around. But I guess I got invigorated later on 'cuz I like Cage the Elephant.
Interestingly, I'm actually not a huge fan of them, and I probably wouldn't have gone normally (especially since it was a sold out show >_>), but my mom knows someone who works at the venue and she surprised me with a pair of tickets. So I figured "why not".
Really, tho, great show. Matt (the singer) is funny to watch; he's always moving around chaotically, and he crowdsurfed/crowdwalked at least three times. THREE TIMES.
By the end of the concert, I had gotten fairly close to the stage, and I actually patted him on the shoulder in the last song. My older sister was with me (somewhere else), and I've already brought this up at least five times to her.
He IS a fine male specimen, tho. No homo.


I also started Nisemonogatari. Fucking finally.
