Albertsons is closing...

The Albertsons right by my house is closing down... this is actually pretty disappointing...

I remember that i used to go there regularly about 7 or 8 years ago. I remember the candy aisle (no other store's candy aisle even compares), the barn by the dairy aisle (i always wanted to climb up that rope into the barn), the coffee kiosk, the cleanliness, the deli, the cowboys merchandise, the beverage center, the reduced bakery sales (used to be $1 for half a dozen donuts after 3 pm), and even the freezer section (large variety of food).

Oh well... I will go shopping there once more, probably on friday, since i wont get the chance to again. Too bad that Wal-mart neighborhood market had to open up...

Today, I will probably go there and get some donuts considering that they have 3 donuts for $1.

   We have an Albertsons down the road from where I live. Honestly, I like it. They are a bit more expensive.. but hell, they need to keep up with the competition. I always liked their selection and how everything in the store is layed out. Lately though, some of the shelves are bare. It's sad. Hopefully your store closing is just local.
