Tass Tips Gaming Series - Episode 1
Posted on: February 22, 2009, at 06:25:56pm

I'm sure you've all seen the video db by now... but if not, I recently had the idea to do a vlog of general gaming tips geared for flash and casual gaming. Recorded and posted the first episode last night:

http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/videos/index.php?songid=4832

Future topics will be far less intuitive, and there may also be guest speakers for specific topics. Open to suggestions and feedback. Have already gotten some good stuff from the YT comments, Kong thread, and Vid DB comments.

  1. Get Rubix to be a guest! :D

  2. Great you're sharing your tips to everyone.

  3. I'm looking forward for the many vids that are yet still to come.

  4. quackies: rubix is the one who wants to guest... will likely let him handle some topics that i know he's a pro at.

  5. Rubix tips #1: Weaving colorful strings of swears while gaming.

  6. Tips of awesomeness :O

  7. thanks for the instructions to the upcoming 3rd style. I will keep them at mind.

  8. You look like my brother.

  9. Rubix only knows how to rage...at least from what I've witnessed in the Kong chatroom.

  10. funny you should mention that foil... we were talking about a tutorial on pros vs cons of game rage. jokingly, of course.

  11. Wow, thats very interesting and helpful. Thanks, anxious for upcoming videos. ;D

  12. Amazing idea. Cool video. :D

  13. I liked it, very informative.

  14. Wow Tass, if you shaved, did pot, and were a college dropout, you would so look like my uncle.

  15. Got any tips for puzzle games or tips for improving reaction timing other than spending countless hours on them? Because sooner or later, with enough practice, one will be very good at a game, and there's not that many games that I want to spend a lot of time playing.

  16. dean: someone else requested general tips for puzzle games... so i think at some point i'll do episodes on general tips for different genres of games. probably not until after 8-10 general general tips though. for reaction time, again, i'll save that for a full episode. :)

  17. kinda reminds me of Pure Pwnage in a way
