   Just LISTEN
   to the silent cries
   strip down to wind and earth
   heart beating incessantly
   instantly regretting its successes
   listening to the failures
   as it loses its color and turns to wine
   money falls from the skies
   to blanket the clouds and make people smile again
   Just LISTEN
   understand what it is I tell you
   though it will take awhile
   it always does
   sometimes hours sometimes days
   it matters on the mood
   or so you say
   or was it one of those voices?
   guess i'll never really know
   Just LISTEN
   lean back close your eyes
   just to see the stars
   just for a moment you and nature connect
   just for a moment
   it’s quiet
