Oh, yeah, the whole situation....

The reason I haven't been active is because my dad's been in the hospital. He suddenly started feeling very bad at work; his stomach hurt, and he had trouble walking. Some time after he got out of work he couldn't even stand up; he complained of a loud buzzing in his ears when he tried to stand up, and loss of balance. We were worried he was having a stroke or heart attack, so he called 911. They took him to the hospital on an ambulance. He had a very slow pulse rate (around 35) and low blood pressure. At one point they had to put him on a breathing tube, but afterward he quickly stabilized. They suspected his new medication caused it, but they also noticed some blood in his stool which prompted them to do more tests on him to see what was wrong. They found nothing, though, and he may come home tomorrow.

So, yeah, I'm back. Everyone was really worried about him at first, but I'm glad he turned out all right.

It's times like these you realize just how much you care about your family members.

In other news, I finished MGS4 today. What a game. Solid Snake, you've earned your rest several times over. I salute you.
